Overview
The Senior Broker will play a pivotal role in managing real estate transactions, driving business growth, mentoring brokerage staff, and fostering client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to mentor individuals and teams. The Senior Broker will support all aspects of brokerage within the market, from business development to financial performance, ensuring excellence in service delivery and achieving revenue targets. This role will collaborate with professionals across a wide variety of disciplines and business lines in a high volume, client-facing environment. The Senior Broker reports to the Market Leader.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Business Development and Management
- Manage lease transactions while fostering client relationships and business growth.
- Secure new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling additional services to the current client base.
- Independently manage and execute complex, large, and mid-size transactions with a high level of proficiency and knowledge.
- Maintain solid understanding of competitive properties, market knowledge and critical market dynamics.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across other service lines, work with the appropriate stakeholders to secure business.
- Assemble and analyze property data, including tenant surveys, summary reports, and market comparables.
- Prepare and evaluate RFPs, specialized reports, and transactional materials.
- Provide clients with market insights, including leasing availability, property values, and current market conditions.
- Active involvement in local / regional / national organizations that will help grow the business, increase market identity, and recruit future talent.
- Complete and coordinate materials necessary for transactions, such as listing agreements, LOI's, lease agreements, amendments, purchase agreements, etc.
- Prepare offers, term sheets, and lease amendments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards throughout all transactions.
