Medium / Heavy Truck Technology Instructor
Position Purpose :
Bradley County Schools seeks a faculty member for the Medium-Heavy Truck Technology (Diesel Technology) Program at the PIE Innovation Center Campus. This instructor prepares individuals for employment in the field. The diesel technology faculty member will be responsible for all aspects of the credit program to include curriculum development, classroom setup, instructional supply purchasing, tool inventory and accountability, and ensuring the course meets local employer requirements.
Qualifications :
- A certificate in diesel equipment technology, a minimum of 3-5 years of diesel-related work experience with demonstrated competencies in the diesel equipment field, and a valid driver's license;
- Or a high school diploma, a minimum of 3-5 years of diesel-related work experience with demonstrated competencies in the diesel equipment field and a valid driver's license.
- A successful candidate must also be service-oriented, work well with business and industry, promote excellence, and demonstrate a commitment to professionalism.
- ASE Master Technician in Medium / Heavy Duty Repair preferred.
- Must be eligible to teach technical dual-enrollment courses.
