Job Summary
This is a full-time position for an Associate Class Action Attorney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on complex legal matters
- Brief discovery, dispositive, pre- and post-trial motions, and appeals
- Draft discovery requests and responses
- Outline deposition and trial examinations
- Manage trial preparation and second-chair examinations
- Opportunities for increasing responsibilities, including argument, depositions, and trial
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience required
- Federal clerkship preferred but not required
- Superior writing and research skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Demonstrated work ethic and passion for justice
- Commitment to excellence in all aspects of practice
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Mass tort, class action, and/or personal injury experience preferred but not required
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
- Active Bar membership in California preferred
