What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Informatics Specialist - Full Time position at BRADLEY MEDICAL CENTER LLC?
Clinical Informaticist - Support EMR, physicians, nursing, all other clinical specialties including BMC and non BMC clinics. Provides indirect patient care in the clinical setting using the nursing process. Assists the Clinical Informatics Specialists II in the planning and administration of information technology projects that impact clinical departments. In collaboration with IT management, the position is responsible for providing assistance to senior team members in coordinating aspects of the planning, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical information systems used in the nursing process. The position will design of appropriate user training, actively participate in change management processes, and work collaboratively with others to identify opportunities for work process improvement. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices and procedures within the department. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. A bachelors degree is preferred
Licensure: Current Tennessee RN License
Experience: 0-2 years experience in a clinical nursing position is required Demonstrates knowledge of redesigning clinical processes to improve efficiency and patient care, preferably in conjunction with the implementation of medical software. Willing to obtain education, training and/or certifications necessary to assist in building clinical applications, assessments and forms. Epic experience a plus.
