Commissioning Technician
Position Overview :
We are seeking a Commissioning Technician to be a critical piece on the troubleshooting and maintenance of smart thermostats, automated lighting systems, and related low voltage equipment. This position will be centric to the Greater Miami Area.

Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and integrate smart thermostats, automated lighting systems, and
associated low voltage equipment.
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues with lighting controls,dimmers, sensors, and thermostat systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to ensureaccurate installations.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate system requirements and recommend optimalsolutions.
Program and test systems for functionality and ensure seamless integration with existinginfrastructure.
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards duringinstallations and repairs.
Maintain detailed records of service activities, including installations, repairs, and clientinteractions.
Train clients on using and maintaining installed systems effectively.Collaborate with project managers and team members to deliver projects on time andwithin budget.
Stay informed about advancements in smart thermostat and lighting technologies toprovide cutting-edge solutions.
Assisting with Support Calls when off the road. Proactive Monitoring of sites andcustomer-outreach for system optimization.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma is required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.Valid driver's license3 years of HVAC experience preferred.3 years of Low Voltage Wiring experience preferred.Great troubleshooting skillsWe value :
Familiarity with INNCOM, Telkonet, Verdant, Lutron, Interel, or Networked Thermostat SystemsTechnical knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, including AHUs, VAVs, VRF's, PTAC'sFCU's, boilers, and chillers.
Familiarity with BACnet, MODbus, and Lonworks protocols for BAS integration.Networks experience (analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), cloud networks, servers, and other data communications networks)Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts toboth technical and non-technical audiences.
Effective organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within a team.Prior experience in training junior technicians and leading by example.Benefits :
