SVP Engineering (Data Centers)

Position: Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering will lead our engineering efforts and drive the technical execution of our innovative land development projects. This person will be an subject matter expert on data center engineering.

The ideal candidate is an experienced data center engineering professional, ideally with a background in both engineering consulting firms and internal roles at colocation providers. They will have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, designing data center solutions, and collaborating with customer engineering teams on build-to-suit projects.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in data center engineering
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be customer-facing to play a bit of a commercial role who understands what works with data center integration and talk through it with the customers.
• 15 years of experience in data center engineering, with a proven track record of success in both engineering consulting firms and internal roles at colocation providers.
• Deep understanding of data center design, construction, and operations, with a focus on build-to-suit projects.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a focus on long-term growth and innovation.
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
