Position Summary:
The Plant/General Manager is responsible for the P&L (Profit & Loss) and to take all actions in coordination with the group, to increase the business and profitability of the company, by conducting continuous improvement actions as well as optimization of the operations, like optimization of supply chain (suppliers, flow of products and inventories) and improvement of efficiency of the manufacturing operations. The Plant/General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of Operations and the Quality Management system, meaning quality of products, services produced, and delivery performance. Responsible for leading, planning and executing all aspects of the facility performance, utilizing continuous improvement strategies, and will ensure that objectives are met in a cost-effective manner that strives to exceed the requirements of our customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•Plan, direct, coordinate and implement strategies, objectives, policies or activities of the organization to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, and to increase overall productivity and efficiency of the organization.
•Lead, support and drive continuous improvement in production through operating procedures, implementation of best practices and related training through ongoing dialogue with operations personnel. Development and utilization of proper metrics for measuring performance in the areas of quality, safety, cost management, capacity management, and operational efficiency.
•Analyze operations and review performance data to evaluate performance of the company and its staff in meeting objectives, and to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement or policy change.
•Manage the movement of product in and out of the facility to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of the operations.
•Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures in conjunction with organization officials and staff members.
•Oversee the financial status of the organization including developing long and short range financial plans, monitoring the budget and ensuring sound financial controls are in place.
•Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives for the organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Compentencies

•Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.
•Strong leadership skills with a strategic mindset, excellent change management, and the ability to drive organizational change.
•Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resources development and strategic planning.
