What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Structural Engineer & Assistant Plan Manager position at Brady-Built Sunrooms?
Brady-Built Inc. is looking to hire a full-time licensed structural engineer to oversee our manufacturing processes and to assist our design team with new sunrooms, pool enclosures, additions and other structures.
The successful candidate will have the appropriate knowledge and experience to design additions and structures, including foundations, structural beams, etc. for residential and commercial projects. Must have experience problem solving common building challenges and be someone with hands-on construction knowledge.
Engineering responsibilities include design consultation and structural guidance, CAD and Revit drawing creation, and the appropriate licensure for stamping plans to be submitted for permitting in New England and preferably beyond. Site visits may be necessary for some projects. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate with customers are required.
Oversight of the manufacturing plant responsibilities include production tracking; process efficiency and cost optimization; production technology implementation; staffing assignment adjustments to maximize efficiency.
Must have valid Driver’s License to drive company vehicle to and from job sites. Must be able to stamp engineering plans in our New England market area.
