This position performs repair and rebuild services on pumps, fans, cooling towers, and motors. This role provides laser alignment services on equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Repairs and rebuilds equipment as part of a maintenance contract, quoted repair, or as a service call.
- Performs work in the field independently or provides assistance depending on task requirements.
- Able to work with basic and powered hand tools such as combination wrenches, screwdrivers, angle grinders and impact wrenches
- Able to use, read and understand precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Utilizes advanced tools such as laser alignment systems.
- Serves as a team member by helping others work more effectively.
- Knowledgeable with the products and services offered by Brady and effective in the sales of those products and services.
- Inspect, maintain, and complete necessary repairs for all company provided materials including fleet vehicle, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain service uniform wear such as hats, shirts, pants, and shoes to ensure compliance with company dress code.
- Adheres to safety policies and industrial practices.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company’s mission and values.
- Performs other duties as required.
WORK HOURS: Monday thru Friday, overtime/weekends as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:

- Material handling demands include lifting from floor level to overhead
- Ability to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds constantly
- Ability to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 90 pounds occasionally
- Position considered in the Heavy Physical Demand Classification (PDC)
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, balance and climb with occasional sitting and laying
- Regularly required to use hands to operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk and hear in a loud environment
- Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Regularly exposed to mechanical/equipment rooms
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, sometimes extreme
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high and precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and vibration
Qualifications
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in HVAC and/or proven experience in predictive maintenance with mechanical maintenance background required
- Basic understanding of controls, HVAC equipment and HVAC systems (preferred)
- Proficiency with computer devices (including laptops, tablets, and smart phones)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Apple iOS software, and hardware/software associated with the predictive maintenance field
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Ability to prove US employment eligibility
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
