What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor 1st Shift position at BradyPLUS?
Position Overview
Our 1st Shift Janitors performs a variety of duties necessary to keep the distribution center and exterior grounds in a clean, and orderly condition. Hours for this position are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday $16.00/hr.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collects trash daily from various points throughout the DC. Sort’s trash from recyclables as needed, and place in appropriate staging areas. Runs garbage compactor, and cardboard baler. Makes and stores cardboard bales as needed. Cleans trash receptacles as needed.
- Daily use and maintenance of a drivable floor scrubbing machine.
- Daily cleaning of shipping office.
- Fill in for other cleaning staff as needed, as well as other duties and projects as assigned by management.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-2 years Commercial/Industrial cleaning experience. Ability to be trained on use of walkie-rider pallet jacks, as well as drivable floor scrubber.
