We are in search of a Warehouse Lead to join our growing team. This role is responsible for overseeing and hands on pulling orders, receiving products, putting away product, unload freight, inventory control, keeping quality customer warehouse by service and safety in mind at all times.

Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with the day-to-day oversight of the Warehouse and Delivery Driver Teams.
- Pull orders to be delivered by Detroit Chemical and process orders shipping out via other carriers.
- Assist with the day-to-day oversight of the Warehouse and Delivery Driver Teams.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Assign orders, route truck runs and assist with palletizing orders for delivery. Ensure all delivery vehicles are loaded evenly with proper weights and level loaded.
- Follow all procedures and policies; consistently keep safety as a primary focus on all tasks.
- Look for ways to improve efficiencies and cost savings; share with manager.
- Pull and load customer walk in orders.
- Assist with inventory control; Participate in bin location audits, inventory control, cycle counting and annual physical inventory.
- Learn to assemble, test and load/unload equipment/machines.
- Assist with stocking of product; rotation of product and assist with stocking showroom.
- Assist with warehouse, warehouse equipment and building maintenance as needed/scheduled.
- Assist with snow removal and salting as needed.
- Attend, participate and arrive on time to meetings when scheduled. Be ready to work at your scheduled start time.
- First-line responsibility to ensure the branch is closed, locked, and alarmed at the end of the business day.
- Complete all HR/OSHA safety training within the timelines provided.
- Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to work various shifts to train or backup management when required with overtime as needed.
- Proficient use of computers for data entry, email, training, Microsoft Office Suite, and various other computer-related tasks. Ability to understand, use and be proficient in our ERP system, Logistics software and driver video software and any other technology adopted in the future.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, frequently lift 50 pounds and move 100 pounds. Assistance is provided with equipment for other lifting needs.
- Forklift experience is needed and able to pass a written and drive test.
- Ability to pass job-related employment screenings, to include a criminal background check and drug test.
