What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Warehouse Associate position at Braen Stone Co?
The Delivery Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering goods from the Warehouse and assisting the warehouse department in daily functions that include but are not limited to: receiving, processing inventory, and cycle counting. In addition, the Inventory Warehouse Associate will work in collaboration with other employees of the company to complete daily tasks while always following the Company’s core values of Service, Integrity and Respect.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for retrieving emergency materials from vendors/other Braen locations to maintain quarry/asphalt production
Safely secure and transport product to Braen locations and vendors while maintaining accurate documentation of pick-ups and deliveries
Responsible for locating and verifying supplies needed by the inventory manager or production team
Routinely stock, pick, sort, pack, load, and label material
Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, inventory reports and cycle counts
Comply with Company and federal safety guidelines (MSHA)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Knowledge/Skills/Aptitudes:
3- 5 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, previous delivery experience) or related field
Must be able to learn and operate various forklifts- forklift and heavy machine experience a plus
Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)
Collaborates with others to meet shared objectives and build partnerships
Action Oriented - takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Physical Demands:
Must be able to pass and maintain state mandated DOT physical
Must be able to climb on 16’ bed truck and secure truck loads
Able to drive 16’ flat bed delivery truck and standard pick-up truck
Lift up to 50-75 lbs
Able to withstand the physical demands of continuous walking/driving/climbing/securing material in all types of weather and outdoor terrain
Load/unload trucks as a Certified Forklift Operator
Salary : $38,000 - $50,000
