What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispensary Team Lead position at Bragg Canna?
The Dispensary Team Lead supports all managers and staff while assisting the Dispensary Manager and Assistant Dispensary Manager with daily operations of the dispensary. The Dispensary Team Lead is more readily available to assist with employee questions and customer service aspects and will escalate the issue or question to management if necessary. The Dispensary Team Lead is a keyholder to the store and may be responsible for opening and closing the store.
- Leads by example consistent with Bragg Canna’s mission, vision, and values while executing all tactical and strategic objectives
- Oversees daily operations of the dispensary in the absence of the Dispensary Manager or Assistant Dispensary Manager
- Delivers exemplary customer service to all patients while also coaching other team members
- Maintain updated procedures in store to provide the best experience for staff and patients
- Supervise team member interactions with patients and report all findings to the appropriate manager; make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of team members
- Secures active stock inventory in display and storage areas and back stock inventory in safes within the vault
- Conducts routine inspections to ensure facility is always compliant with all state and local regulations
- Prevents diversion through enforcing company policies, procedures, and state regulations
- Maintains traceability of all retail and cannabis products
- Oversees all daily financial reporting and monitors all cash-handling procedures in absence of management staff
- Proficient awareness of both internal and external competitive landscapes, opportunities for improvement, and industry development
- Appropriately handles all customer complaints received in-store, including high-risk complaints
- Appropriately handles all state and local inspections, communicating and adjusting as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
- General computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3 years Retail/Customer Service experience
- Clinical research experience preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have valid MS cannabis work permit
- Minimum of two years of education or experience in the fields of biology, biochemistry, chemistry, physiology, pharmacology, medicine, medical cannabis, nursing, pharmaceuticals, or a similar field
- This is an active position requiring regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing all day.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 25lbs
