Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious engineering student to join our team as a summer intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in engineering while working on exciting projects in the crane and rigging industry. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team of engineers and learn about the design and development of complex lifting solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and development of lifting solutions for various industries
- Participate in the design & analysis of lifting systems and equipment
- Collaborate with our team of engineers to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
- Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation
- Learn how to read and interpret rigging plans and lift charts
- Attend safety meetings and adhere to all safety guidelines
- Assist with project planning and coordination
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. civil engineering, mechanical)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
- Drafting with Autocad/Solidworks
