What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandise Assistant position at Bragg Companies?

As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg team. We are currently hiring a part-time, temporary Merchandise Assistant in our Long Beach, CA headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Set Up: Prepare, transport, and set up inventory at new (on-site) location. Pack/unpack, organize, and restock items in the new storage area.
- Operate moving equipment: Use carts, dollies, or other equipment to move heavy or bulky items efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth and efficient relocation.
- Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate records of items being packed, transported, and received at the new location.
- Assist in the Moving Process: Assist with additional tasks as required to complete the moving process.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Soft Skills: Time management, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience working in an office or inventory in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
Work Environment
- Location: Must be able to commute to Long Beach, CA headquarters as needed
- Physical Conditions: Must be able to lift 50 pounds, as well as sit, walk, stoop, and kneel for an extended period of time.
What We Offer:
- Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour (The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position, and individual hourly rate will be based on skills, qualifications, and experience)
