Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Technical Services Representative to join our team in the Woods Cross, UT branch. This role is essential for supporting Bragg Companies’ growth, fostering new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. The representative will be responsible for driving sales leads, meeting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction through expert knowledge of our products and services. This position provides the opportunity to contribute directly to the company's success by delivering excellent service and technical solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating Leads: Proactively develop and generate sales leads for the branch, ensuring efficient distribution based on sales assignments.
- Meeting Sales Targets: Achieve annual sales volume figures, with a performance-driven approach while considering market conditions and external factors.
- Building Relationships: Maintain professional and supportive relationships with customers, colleagues, and the public, reflecting Bragg's core values: Safety, Integrity, Superior Service, and Quality.
- Presenting Product/Services: Demonstrate and maintain thorough knowledge of Bragg’s equipment and services, assisting customers in determining the best solutions for their needs.
- Contract Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison for contract communications, including Purchase Orders, Insurance documents, and working closely with the Contracts Administrator.
- Market Research: Stay informed on market trends and customer business activities, collaborating with the Branch Manager to develop solutions that enhance competitiveness.
- Customer Support: Contribute to customer events and ensure that all customer information within the assigned territory is accurately maintained for effective sales management.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit relevant reports including PEC Reports, Bid Clerk, and Dodge Reports, ensuring data is updated and accurate.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in a construction or equipment-related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Physical Requirements:
- Driving: Must be able to drive and travel in a vehicle, with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical Conditions: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
