As a Platform Product Manager, you will own the infrastructure that powers real-time 3D positioning technology—from how radio signals are received to the data pipelines that deliver location data to internal applications or external partners via API. This includes managing signal acquisition via proprietary hardware, 5G networks, or Wi-Fi networks; overseeing systems that process those signals; and ensuring reliable data delivery. In this highly cross-functional role, you will collaborate with engineering, customers, and integration partners to build a scalable, high-performance platform adaptable across industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, execute, and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for platform infrastructure supporting real-time 3D positioning technology.
- Establish requirements for end-to-end data flow, from radio signal acquisition to data processing and API delivery.
- Set specifications for internal APIs and backend systems that convert raw signal data into real-time, high-precision location outputs.
- Develop and maintain external APIs that enable seamless integration of real-time positioning data with partner platforms.
- Lead integrations with system integrators, 5G radio access networks (RAN), Wi-Fi vendors, and other partners.
- Define and prioritize hardware and firmware requirements in collaboration with engineering teams, balancing technical feasibility and cost efficiency.
- Ensure best practices in security, data governance, and platform reliability by working with technical stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure platform scalability, adaptability, and flexibility across industries and deployment models.
- Lead discovery sessions with customers and partners to define integration requirements and prioritize features.
- Define and track KPIs related to system scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Support sales and customer success teams with onboarding, integration planning, and technical enablement.
- Communicate platform updates, architectural changes, and roadmap priorities effectively to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and maintain technical documentation for APIs, integration processes, and platform capabilities.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in product management for infrastructure platforms, APIs, radio hardware, or hardware/software integrations.
- Hands-on experience with product development methodologies, including iterative development and backlog prioritization.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, partners, and customers.
- Ability to apply product prioritization frameworks to manage competing technical requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a track record of delivering business value within technical constraints.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep technical knowledge of radio networks (5G, Wi-Fi), cloud infrastructure, IoT systems, and data pipelines.
- Experience working with telcos, RAN vendors, Wi-Fi vendors, IoT hardware vendors, or system integrators.
- Expertise in defining and measuring KPIs for platform performance, latency, and reliability.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, location-based services, IoT platforms, and real-time data processing.
- Experience in API design, edge computing, and distributed systems architecture.
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and data privacy best practices.
