Through effective communication, adaptability, and problem-solving, we collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US and Asia to proactively identify and resolve potential risks.
YOUR IMPACT
Brahmin Leather Works is looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to inspect and evaluate our diverse product lines, ensuring they meet our high standards and satisfy our discerning customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the inspection process, working under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Supervisor to maintain product excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will perform scheduled inspections on finished goods to evaluate the quality and accuracy of a diverse number of products against production specifications and requirements.
You will work with cross-functional production teams in the US and Asia as needed to resolve quality issues on various new products.
Perform inventory inspections as needed to confirm product compliance with standards.
Generate non-conformance reports as required.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum of high school diploma.
Ability to read, write and interpret English.
Discern what is needed for inspection techniques and measurement tools.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
General computer literacy with tools such as Word, Excel and Microsoft 365.
2 – 3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or feel products. The employee frequently is required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
