YOUR DAY AS A GRANTS SPECIALIST
As a remote Grants Specialist, your day kicks off by diving into research and identifying grant opportunities that align with our mission and programs. You write and submit high-quality grant proposals, ensuring they meet all requirements and deadlines. Working closely with program staff, you develop project budgets and narratives that reflect our impact. Tracking the status of applications and maintaining a comprehensive grants calendar will keep you organized. Throughout the day, you communicate with funding organizations, building lasting relationships to support our ongoing work.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, communications, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in grant writing, with a successful track record
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in budget development and research
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
- Knowledge of healthcare or nonprofit sectors
WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION
This is a remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM EST, with occasional travel as needed.
