Daycare Teacher

Brain Strong Learning Center is a daycare that provides care and learning for all children, as we are fully equipped to provide care for neurotypical and neurodivergent children. We are looking for caring, patient persons to teach and supervise the children while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic child care and caregiving activities
• Use a wide range of teaching methods to enhance the child's abilities
• Evaluate the children's performance to make sure they are on the right learning track
• Maintain communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children
• Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action
• Collaborate with other colleagues
• Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources
• Make weekly lesson plans and plan arts and crafts for the children.
• Maintain a clean classroom and perform janitorial duties when necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience with Child Care and/or Teaching
• Knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
• Patience, flexibility, and love for children
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Certificate in First Aid and CPR
• Have Pre-Service training or willing to get Pre-Service training
• Pass a background check
• $12 an hour is available for those who have completed the following training, "The Functions of Behavior" and "Pre-service Training for Child Care workers (8 hours)"

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
