Sr. Electrical / Hardware Engineer

Job Summary: Using engineering principles and help to design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability

Job Duties:

• Operates computer-assisted engineering and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Directs and coordinates manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements.
• Inspects completed installations and observes operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• May be involved in developing budgets, estimating labor, material, and construction costs
• Testing battery capacities, troubleshooting
• Communication with suppliers from Asia

Qualification:

• Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
• May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
• Experience in PCB board design
• Experience working on Lithium Batteries is a definite advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 4 to 8 years of experience.
