Job Description:
Do you love the energy and teamwork of cheerleading? Are you passionate about sharing your enthusiasm for choreography, tumbling, and cheer spirit with young students? BAM! is looking for a Cheer Instructor to lead engaging, high-energy after-school cheer programs where students can build their confidence, coordination, and teamwork skills.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys mentoring youth, thrives in a dynamic environment, and wants to share the joy of cheerleading in a fun and supportive setting.
In this role, you will:
Lead Cheer Classes: Teach cheerleading fundamentals, including basic stunts, tumbling, jumps, chants, and dance routines, tailored to the age and skill level of your students (grades K-8).

Foster Teamwork: Encourage collaboration, sportsmanship, and confidence through positive reinforcement and team-building activities.

Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive environment where every student feels supported and valued.

Represent BAM!: Deliver a fun and professional experience by implementing BAM!'s cheer program curriculum and maintaining our high standards for instruction and care.
Qualifications:

1-2 years of cheerleading experience as an instructor, coach, or team member (high school, college, or competitive-level experience preferred).

A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring (coaching/teaching experience is preferred).

Excellent class management skills and the ability to work effectively with students in grades K-8.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license or State ID.

Ability to pass a background check.

Willingness to undergo additional training as required.

Ability to lift and carry approximately 20-50 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations.
