Job Description:
Do you have a passion for teaching math to young learners? As an After-School Program Math Instructor with Brains & Motion Education, you’ll help children (grades K-5) develop essential math skills through fun, interactive lessons that build confidence and a love for learning. If you’re enthusiastic, creative, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to have you on our team!
In this role, you will:
- Lead and inspire elementary students in fun, engaging math lessons designed to reinforce essential skills such as counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic problem-solving.
- Introduce early concepts of shapes, patterns, measurements, and number sense in ways that spark curiosity and excitement.
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that builds confidence and a growth mindset.
- Use BAM!'s carefully crafted math curriculum to deliver lessons that combine hands-on activities, games, and real-world applications to make learning math enjoyable and relatable.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of experience teaching or tutoring elementary math, with a strong passion for helping children develop foundational skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring (coaching/teaching experience is highly encouraged).
- Excellent class management skills and the ability to work effectively with students in grades K-8.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license or State ID.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 20-50 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations.

- Availability: Starting 01/14 Tuesdays (1:25 PM to 2:40 PM) and Fridays (3 PM to 4:15 PM)
