Job Title - Senior Subject Matter Expert
Job Location - Maryland
Job Type : W2 Contract ( No c2c)
Job Description : The Senior Subject Matter Expert must possess at least twelve (12) years of
expertise recommending technical solutions and supporting the engagement, relationships, business
development, and successful project implementations for state-wide Correctional agencies.
Additional requirements include:
a) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Science, Engineering, Information
Management, or Computer Science; a Master’s degree is preferred.
b) Twelve (12) years or more experience in information technology, specifically in Correctional
agency operations.
c) Knowledge and familiarity of applicable Federal, Maryland State, and Local laws and regulations.
d) Advanced knowledge of Correctional business operations, systems, and project management.
e) Ability to coordinate with project stakeholders.
f) Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language.
g) Advanced ability to recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-functional projects.
h) Proven ability to lead the introduction and implementation of technical solutions.
i) Expert understanding of Correctional operations.
j) Expertise in Correctional policy, legislation, funding, and emerging technologies and standards.
