One of our clients, medical imaging services company is looking for an talented Lab Engineer Scientists (mid and senior levels).

** Must be authorized to work in US for ANY EMPLOYER.
No H1 Visa support for this position. The Location is Minneapolis, MN. This is on-site role. Permanent position with great benefits.

Laboratory Engineer Scientist
In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD).

Essential Functions:

• Join a team of scientists for development of immunoassays used for In Vitro Diagnostics.
• Following all necessary laboratory safety and operation protocols.
• Executing experiments in protein analysis, conjugation, separation and quantitation.
• Optimizing assay reagent formulations and assay conditions.
• Running immunoassays on automated analyzers experience is preferred.
• Performing statistical data analysis for test results.
• Troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues when they occur.

Knowledge/Educational Requirements

• BS, MS, or Ph.D., with relevant combined experience in either Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or other related field with hands on laboratory experience.
• Previous experience in assay development or clinical laboratory is preferred.
• Post-doc training in clinical chemistry and clinical laboratory operation is a plus.
• Experience with optimizing immunoassay formulation highly recommended
• Having research publications will be considered as a plus.
• ASCP certification is a plus.
• Having research publications is a plus but not required.

Skills and Abilities

• The successful candidate will have good analytical skills and outstanding attention to details.
• Proficiency in laboratory Equipment setup, operation and maintenances.
• Capability of performing data analysis with statistical tools.
• Ability to perform literature searching, summarizing outcomes and possible implementation.
• Self-driving and independent work abilities are required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
