What are the responsibilities and job description for the Verbal Test Prep Tutoring: SAT/ACT, GRE/GMAT position at BrainStorm Tutoring LLC?
Looking for ambitious, engaging, charismatic coaches for students in their teens / early 20s who are preparing for standardized tests (verbal, especially). We will pay you well! ($30-60/hr)
Some coaching will be done virtually, but the majority will be done in person at students’ homes around Bergen & Passaic Counties, NJ and/or at our center in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
We are hiring only 3 new test prep tutors– preference given for those with experience and credentials (advanced degrees or certifications) or who can also help students with school subject tutoring. Must be able / willing to drive to sessions and perform at least 12 billable hours / week.

The Opportunity
BrainStorm Tutoring is seeking dynamic and articulate individuals to join our high-caliber corps of academic mentors. This is a unique opportunity to join a community of passionate teachers and to contribute to the education of local youth.
- Work with students in a one-to-one or small-group setting
- Schedule created / dictated by YOU; options to tutor 7 days / week (typically weekdays 2 - 9pm or all day on weekends)
- Minimum of 12 hours a week of billable time
- Rate depends on credentials/experience: $30 - $60 per hour
