The Braintree Public School District is seeking a dynamic full-time middle school Instrumental and General Music Teacher.
The ideal candidate will have expereince with orchestral, percussion and guitar ensembles.
The Music Teacher will work closely with building administration, the director of music, and district music faculty to continue Braintree's high quality music program.
The ideal candidate will empower students to create, perform, and respond to music.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of vocal technique and pedagogy to enthusiastically prepare students for a minimum of three concerts performing wellrounded, engaging, and culturally appropriate repertoire.
The ideal candidate will guide students to become musically literate in all music classes by presenting music theory, ensemble work, and sight-reading opportunities.
Work year : Consistent with Braintree Education Association (BEA)
Teachers contract (182 Days)
SALARY : Consistent with BEA salary schedule
State Licensure in Music : All Fields, K-12 required
