What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bulletin 1544 Grade 1 Teacher at Hollis Elementary School position at Braintree Public Schools?
The Braintree Public School District is seeking a Grade 1 Teacher to work at Hollis Elementary School starting in September, 2025. The successful candidate will possess the appropriate Massachusetts Educator License and would be responsible for all aspects of the class including lesson planning, data collection, and classroom management.
Performance responsibilities include, but are not limted to the following:
- create an environment that is positive for student learning and involvement
- maintain appropriate standards of behavior, mutual respect and safety
- plan instruction effectively
- monitor students/ understanding of the curriculum and adjust instruction, material, or assessments when appropriate
- communicate with families
- share responsibility for accomplishing the goals and priorities of the grade/team/department, building and school district.
- work cooperatively with colleagues, administrators and other school personnel.
