The Braintree Public School District is seeking 2 Moderate Special Needs teachers (1.0 FTE) to join the East Middle School special services team, starting September 2, 2025.
These positions require DESE moderate special needs licensure (5-8) with the understanding that succesful candidates will receive teaching assignments based on professional skill set and specific building needs.
A Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred including a background of direct academic instruction with middle school level students. Demonstrated experience working with students within the inclusion, small groups, and 1:1 academic support settings. Evidence of strength in evaluating student skills and writing reports to interpret/summarize findings. Experience in writing IEP's in the new DESE format preferred.
