What you'll be working on
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining Flextrade's network infrastructure
- Ensuring high performance and reliability of the network
- Implementing security best practices and policies
- Troubleshooting and resolving network issues
- Configure, install and maintain network equipment like routers, switches, firewalls
- Implement and monitor network security controls and policies
- Monitor network performance and resolve any issues
- Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions
- Document network configurations, policies, and standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8 years of experience as a network engineer
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, network design
- Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers and virtual private networks
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose network problems
- Attention to detail and ability to document procedures
- Knowledge of Cisco Firewalls, Routers and Protocols
