Interim Accounting Manager
📍 Overland Park, KS | 🏢 Hybrid | 💵 $60-75/hour DOE
We’re working with a reputable Investment Management firm that is looking to bring on an Interim Accounting Manager to assist through a period of transition. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in a banking/investment management environment and enjoys true ownership of the monthly accounting cycle. For candidates in the Kansas City market, there is potential for this position to convert to a permanent role in the future (not a requirement).
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ownership of the full monthly accounting cycle and monthly close function
- Cash Flow forecasting and monthly Financial Reporting
- Process documentation to ensure processes are fully documented for future use
- Supporting the year-end audit
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 5 years of general accounting experience, ideally in a banking or investment management environment
- Demonstrated ownership of the monthly accounting function and monthly close within a previous position
- Experience with NetSuite
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
