Qualifications: Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must be able and available to work overtime as required.
Job Summary: Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following: Provides direction, instruct, assistance and guidance to the team members in one department.
Essential Functions:
Assist the supervisor in ensuring the production line runs efficiently
Assists in planning for the production line run with the Production Supervisor
- Assists Supervisor in maintaining quality and throughput expectations
Assists in ensuring the raw material is staged for the daily production line
Monitors and Tracks production throughput, yields and quality
Responsible for production line setup after the production floor has been released by USDA
- Communicating with management when there are concerns with the machine
Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Experience in similar role within a food production environment a plus.
Other Requirements: Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.
Working Conditions: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Employees will wear personal protective equipment as necessary or required.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
