HOURS: 9:30 p.m. - 5:30a.m. (S-Th) Hours will vary
WAGE: $23.95 per hour
JOB SUMMARY: Ensure inventory is received, added to inventory and placed in proper locations for efficient use.
JOB DUTIES:
Unload raw material from trailer and store in coolers, freezers, or dry storage as required.
Attach proper identifying tags or labels to materials or properly mark skids, cases or containers as they are received.
Inspect incoming materials to verify quantity received, verify item numbers, verify vendor batch, and identify damaged goods or unmarked items.
Complete necessary related paperwork.
Complete all necessary computer work.
Remove material samples as required, properly label/identify and notify QA.
Move products within coolers/freezers/dry storage and record in computer as necessary.
Locate and distribute material to specified staging areas, as required.
Maintain a clean work environment within coolers, freezers, dry storage areas and on receiving docks.
Assist driver with oil tanker. Pump oil as necessary.
Perform daily physical inventory and enter data in computer.
Move required items to staging area, such as batters, breading, boxes, etc. Make associated data entries in computer.
Work must be performed to ensure that product is supplied to meet needs of production, QA and R & D.
Place products in inventory and put products in proper location in warehouse.
Maintain housekeeping in dry storage area. Empty racks, if necessary, to clean underneath.
Conduct physical inventory or cycle count, on a regular basis or as instructed.
All associated paperwork or data entry must be completed.
Frequent bending, lifting, twisting as well as climbing possible during work shift.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise exposure, dust and a wide temperature variation from warm to cool to extremely cold and slippery floors are present. Exposure to corrosive chemicals. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Employees must possess good communication skills, be team oriented and get along well with others. Must have ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and climb stairs, up to 8 hours per day. Must successfully complete all required training including high lift, pallet jack, forklift, and yard dog. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have good computer skills. Must be able to work with little supervision.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
