Overview:
We are seeking a skilled FSQA Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in precision measuring instruments, data collection, quality management, and quality control. Responsibilities:
- Calibrate test equipment
- Perform process checks throughout the production, packaging, sanitation and warehousing functions including pre-operational checks, sanitation verification, label checks, net weight checks and package integrity checks
- Schedule and execute sample submittals to management
- Receive and document batch testing results
- Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies, and effectively communicating when there are deviations from standards or processes
- Assist in training employees on food safety, company processes and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain accurate and organized records of QA activities
- Maintain organized inventory of retained products
- Monitor HACCP critical control points
- Participate in preparation for 3rd party safety audits
- Maintain ongoing company compliance with applicable regulations and 3rd party auditor requirements
- Conduct research on Quality Assurance issues and deliver reports on research to management
- Recommend, champion and execute program enhancements
- FSQA Technicians are required to be placed as needed and should remain willing to be shift flexible to work on a shift rotation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in quality systems and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Ability to fabricate and assemble components with precision
- Proficiency in using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and micrometers
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
