Who We are Looking For:We are seeking a full-time, temporary, Ecommerce Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. The Ecommerce Graphic Designer will work to create compelling landing pages, graphics, email layouts, and various printed materials that support strategic objectives. You’ll ensure delivery of design assets that follow established brand guidelines, appeal to our audiences, attract prospects, and boost brand awareness.

The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently combine creativity, functionality, and technology to produce eye-catching and informative content. The Graphic Designer will report to the Creative Director, working with copywriters and Ecommerce merchandising teams. To apply, please include a cover letter, resume and a portfolio of your work. Final candidates will work on a paid example project to showcase skillset, ability and design POV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and marketing team to design compelling, efficient, and visually appealing designs to support campaigns and company goals
  • Design content for Ecommerce purposes including: landing pages, email layouts, social media graphics, and paid ads
  • Design content for print purposes including: order inserts, instructional materials, print ads, product labels and packaging
  • Work with Creative Director to ensure final creative assets follow branding guidelines including visual look, voice, and tone
  • Collaborate with a variety of departments as required, including marketing, product development, technology, inventory, and customer service
  • Be responsible for the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of projects, to ensure that final design assets are completed to specifications
  • Maintain brand guidelines and ensure assets hold brand consistency
  • Recommend design enhancements, brand updates, and other creative input to content production team
  • Troubleshoot design/production problems as they arise

Professional Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a graphic designer (or similar role), designing content assets for a variety of applications, with a portfolio showcasing experience
  • Experience with digital content design, including landing pages, social media graphics, email layouts, and paid advertising
  • Experience with print content, including product labels, order inserts, print ads, brochures, and other printed materials
  • Ability to apply principles of design to achieve specific strategic marketing objective
  • Vocabulary and communication skills around UX, Ecommerce, marketing, and content creation and management
  • Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat)
  • Experience with Google Suite (Google Drive)
  • Strong copywriting skills - ability to synthesize complex information
  • Knowledge of Salesforce systems and Zmags a plus

  • Takes feedback and critique from others and incorporates changes to make work better
  • Experience maintaining high quality creative in a fast paced, high-growth environment
  • A strong communicator with initiative and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to maintain productive working relationships with others by showing respect for others and acting with integrity and honesty
  • Detail-oriented in all areas of graphic design and production
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills
  • Interest in the DIY/crafting industry a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment and/or remote
  • Possible exposure to scents during days we are creating projects in the studio
