Job Description

As a Warehouse Repair Operator, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a role that places a strong emphasis on safety. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tools to move repair pallets within a warehouse. Your role involves making decisions to optimize material movement and contribute to the overall efficiency of the plant operations. Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance tasks on tools. As well as help sanitize the containers, further expanding your skillset.

Monday to Wednesday – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM - Bi-Weekly Pay with Direct Deposit options

Position Purpose
The Pallet Repair Operator is responsible for the full assembly of pallets in a service center, using a pneumatic nail gun to repair all components. This individual places a pallet on repair table, removes defective boards, replaces new boards, and nails replaced boards into place. In an assembly department takes stock boards and nails together based on type of pallet desired. Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw.

Major/Key Accountabilities Pallet Repair:
Follow repair guidelines to execute the full repair of all components of a pallet including but not limited to removal and replacement of defective boards.
Efficiency and Productivity:
Strive to meet daily production targets.
Quality Control:
Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or irregularities in pallet construction.
Ensure adherence to repair guidelines and quality standards throughout the process.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery. · Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily
Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of production tools such as pneumatic nail gun, or other relevant tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Physical Requirements
Drag/Pull pallets frequently – approximately 75lbs. · Utilize nail gun frequently- approximately 35lbs.

2 years previous experience working in an industrial, fast moving setting with industrial machinery (preferred, not required)
