Job Description
We are seeking Pallet Sorter to join our Temple, TX team, working Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. If you have warehouse experience, can sweat through 8-hours of heavy lifting, and a have strong work ethic, a Sorter position with CHEP could be a great fit!
- $18/hour, Weekly Pay with Direct Deposit

Position Purpose
The Sorter position is responsible for sorting pallets by hand for grading by hand as they flow from the loading dock, production line and throughout the facility. May leverage tools or machine to lift or remove debris from.
Major/Key Accountabilities
Pallet Sorting:
- Sort pallets as they are moved from loading docks to sort line/area.
- Removes debris and trash from pallets
- Determines which pallets may require repairs.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an industrial, fast paced environment with industrial equipment.
- Ability to complete task within a timely manner with high attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and communicate information is essential.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry 78lbs at least 33% of work shift.
- Push items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.
- Pull items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.

Experience
- 2 years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery (preferred, not required)
