Position Purpose
The Logistics Coordinator, LC, position will be responsible for planning and delivery roughly 100 shipments / week both inbound and outbound from our North America supply chain network. The LC will sit within a team of 4 total coordinators, each with regional responsibility. The LC will work closely with transportation, planning, and operations providers to achieving customer expectations of on time delivery.
Scope
- Weekly / Monthly reporting of key metrics
- Execution of customer order request for inbound and outbound territory
- Management of inventory levels in assigned region, supporting rest of network
- Work closely with transportation providers to secure freight and deliver on time, both truck load, LTL, intermodal, and limited ocean going freight as needed
- Develop and deliver new cost out initiatives, working with internal teams, LCs, and Log MGR
- Support LCs as backup solution to help cover PTO and assist in times of increased workload
- Position will have a dynamic element, where ask and deliverables can change to support the business
