Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Firmware Engineer will design, develop, and maintain firmware for sensors, RF technologies (BLE / Wi-Fi / Cellular / GNSS), devices, and systems. The role requires expertise in RTOS-based systems (e.g., FreeRTOS) and bare-metal development on ARM Cortex-M3 and M4 processors (e.g., Nordic, Silicon Labs, STM32).
The engineer will architect and implement firmware solutions that optimize performance, enhance signal quality, and ensure seamless connectivity. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, conduct comprehensive testing and debugging, and deliver high-quality, reliable firmware releases.
In addition, the Senior Firmware Engineer will provide technical guidance to junior team members, contribute to architecture decisions, and stay abreast of advancements in embedded systems and wireless technologies.
