With an ever-growing global team of experts across procurement, technology, strategy, and operations in almost 20 countries, they now seek a strong procurement candidate with experience in sourcing technology spends to oversee and enhance procurement strategy. Your role will encompass shaping the procurement approach, driving commercial value, mitigating risks, and much more on a global scale.

This is not your typical category management role but is more focused on procurement strategy creation than delivery. You will business partner with key stakeholder globally to create business plans which are delivered by a separate business function, meaning you focus on more high value strategic project procurement.

Key Responsibilities for the Strategic Procurement Manager

• Business Partner with cross functional stakeholders to create strategic plans for procurement Enterprise IT spend areas
• Spearhead transformative change projects, elevating the RFP, negotiation, and contracting processes to new heights
• Operate as advisor to internal stakeholders, providing a strategic insight into the supplier landscape within your area of spend
• Lead the charge in planning & negotiating best practices across the supply chain, accounting for ESG and sustainability agendas
• Proactively identify opportunities for enhancements in cost-effectiveness, quality, service excellence, and groundbreaking innovation
• Stay at the forefront of market trends and supply chain dynamics, ensuring a well-informed and dynamic approach to procurement.
• Foster and cultivate robust working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, delivering regular updates on the progress of your impactful activities.

Required Skills:

• A strong procurement/sourcing background in a business partnering focused position
• Technology Category expertise is required, ideally within enterprise
• Experience operating within a global matrix organisation, with a strong track record of effectively managing cross functional stakeholder groups
• Degree educated
