What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree Service Ground Crew position at Branch Land and Tree?
Come join our crew at Branch Land and Tree. We are a team of passionate and hardworking tree service professionals. We truly love what we do and are currently seeking an experienced ground crew member to join us.
Essential Functions:
- Uses a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
- Gathers tree trimmings and feeds into wood chipper.
- Works with power equipment in a noisy environment (around machines, chain saws, wood chipper). Use of PPE is required.
- Occasionally works on uneven ground, roof tops or ladders.
- Works around falling trees and branches.
- Tows trailers and equipment to and from job sites.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years experience in the tree service industry preferred.
- Must be able to maintain attention during dangerous tasks and be able to communicate with other team members.
- Must be able to operate and perform simple service on all required tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform strenuous manual labor and work in all weather conditions.
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
- Have reliable transportation to and from the show up location.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
