Branch Landscape Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that landscape maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards, including mowing & lawn care, plants & garden bed care, trimming of hedges, planting flowers, applying mulch and other general landscape tasks. The candidate should have excellent leadership skills, basic horticultural knowledge, a passion for working outdoors and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of a team of workers through various landscape maintenance tasks.
- Operate a variety of landscape equipment including, but not limited to, mini track loaders, rototillers, sod cutters, hedge trimmers and other small engine equipment.
- Ensure that all work is performed to meet client expectations and the highest company standards.
- Ensure that all workers are properly trained and equipped with the necessary tools and safety equipment.
- Provide guidance and instruction to crew members on proper planting, pruning and other techniques.
- Communicate effectively with clients and account managers to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any equipment utilized.
- Oversee and accurately log hours worked into company mobile timecard system.
- Perform regular safety inspections and take corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment.
- Mentor and train junior team members to help them reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance and property care.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to lift over 50lbs regularly without assistance.
- Ability to drive large landscape trucks and haul various trailers/equipment.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of workers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to company facilities.
- Ability to write and communicate in English & Spanish preferred.
- Current Colorado Pesticide Applicator license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
