What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Branch Line?
Branch Line in Watertown, MA is looking for a Line Cook to join our growing restaurant group. Our ideal candidates are self-driven, ambitious, engaged and passionate about rotisserie chicken.
Branch Line is a neighborhood rotisserie with craveable chef food, craft beverages, confidence and unselfconscious familiarity.
This is a great position for a motivated, organized line cook who wants to develop and fine tune culinary skills in a professional kitchen. Many opportunities for growth within the company!
Line Cook Responsibilities:
- Execute day to day culinary operations
- Utilize produce, dairy, seafood & high quality ingredients with pride
- Uphold kitchen sanitation standards pertaining to food safety
- Assist in the development and protocol around established menu items
- Use standardized recipes and plate presentations
- Work alongside cooks every day, leading by example
- Work with FOH team to create a memorable experience for guests
- Contribute to important elements of operations including takeout, delivery, events catering
Additional Lead Line Cook Responsibilities:
- Inside expo
- Closing prep lists
- Leadership of the team by setting an example
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking or other related field
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Interest in teamwork and personal growth
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
- Lead line cook must have 1 year in high-volume scratch kitchen
