STEM Coach Grades: 4-8
Stony Brook School/Branchburg Central Middle School
Dates: January 21, 2025 - June 30, 2025
Tenure Track
Qualifications:
- NJ Certification
- BA/BS in Elementary Education or related field
- BA/BS in Mathematics or Science preferred
- Firm understanding of the developmental nature of mathematics and the interconnections among concepts
- Firm understanding of and experience with the workshop model
- Firm understanding and experience with the Next Generation Science Standards
- Experience with technology integration in an elementary as well as middle school classrooms
- Experience with data analysis for instructional decision making and facilitating the curriculum writing and revision process
- Experience with demonstrating best teaching practices to peers (coaching), facilitating meetings, delivering training/staff development and presenting information to parents and the greater school community
