Who we’re looking for?

With an ambitious plan to continue our multi-year double digit growth further, we are on the hunt for a talented Photography, wanting to put their skills to use in the workplace & join our St. Louis based team. Working for Brand Addition you will be required to create e-commerce studio photography for a wide range of products, as well as planning, and produce lifestyle shoots. Brand Addition is a dynamic environment, and we welcome innovation so there is rarely a dull moment!

What we’d like?

We are looking for an individual who is energetic and wants to work in an extremely fast-paced; ever changing environment! Someone to work as a member of our creative team, producing high quality imagery for our growing range of product and web catalogs, including lifestyle imagery that will be used for presentations, marketing campaigns, banners, presentations and printed catalogues. Experience in working as a videography would be a plus.

You will provide conceptual design work and understand our customer’s photography guidelines. Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the photography studio for the ecommerce shoots plus the planning and preparation of lifestyle shoots. This teammate will work directly with our creative teams in the United Kingdom, and of course St. Louis, to collaborate on new business opportunities as well as to support our growing list of Fortune 500 accounts.

What you’ll need:

• You will have a passion for what you do

• Experience running a photography studio

• Thorough knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom are essential

• Delivering projects within tight timeframes that meet brand guidelines

• Excellent communication skills with the US teams, clients & our global teams.

• The ability to work to deadlines.

• Interest in learning how the business works.

• Accurate interpretation of brand briefings.

• Accepting responsibility for the delivery of professional and complete brief responses

• Experience working on lifestyle shoots

The right candidate will possess strong Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint skills. This is a must! We would love the opportunity to review your portfolio and see how you can express the limits of creativity and elements of design applied to our medium, promotional merchandise. This could be in the form of school projects, website(s), marketing campaigns, or any other previous work that you have created and is available for us to review.

Photographer’s Day to Day:

• Strong capabilities across Adobe Creative Cloud Platforms editing photos

• Strong knowledge of a working photography studio, including camera and lighting knowledge

• 50% of time spent in photo studio. Split time between photography studio and office studio (2 miles apart). Flexibility hybrid working.

• To research into brands – look at the websites and go out into retail or site visits if necessary

• To work pro-actively with all other Teams, Account Directors, Account Managers, and Merchandisers to develop strong working relationships to help improve service and to support sales.

• To present ideas and designs to the client, both on and off site when required.

• Work within set deadlines for short term projects while realistically estimating the time required to complete longer term or more complex projects.

• Exceptional creative thinker with the ability to communicate your many ideas.

• To support the team, as and when required, in tasks that do not normally fall within this role specification but do form part of the roles carried out by other team members. Willing to interpret briefs, openly and easily communicating capabilities, limitations and clearly setting expectations

• To be motivated to seek out work and not require formal briefings for all activities.
