Bring to life the Brand Enhance Experience as our newest Payroll and Purchasing
Manager
As one of our driven and passionate team members, you will be reporting to our Sr. Finance and
Accounting Manager and will be a key partner to our corporate team. You will work alongside
our team to ensure the company continues our accelerated growth plan with new accounts and
additional markets throughout the US. In this role you will drive and be responsible for our
payroll and purchase processes, as well as supporting the accounting and finance function.

In this role, you will :
Payroll
Accountable for the preparation and execution of payroll for all associates, ensuring
accuracy, timeliness and legal compliance.
Act as the main point of contact for all associate inquiries and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll, wage and hour laws.
Manage all interactions with state agencies EDD, UI etc.
Responsible for managing deadlines, reporting and audits.
Develop and update payroll policies and processes in line with best practices and
implement with associates and leaders.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in payroll management.
Maintain strong collaborative relationship with our HRIS partners.
Collaborate closely with the field and People teams to maintain accurate associate
lifecycle data.
Manage data entry, data integrity, and document retention processes.
Purchasing
Manage procurement processes to ensure efficient inventory, purchasing and vendor
relationships.
Research, select, and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers to
ensure consistent quality, cost-efficiency, and supply.
Process purchase orders, track deliveries to our client sites, and ensure timely receipt
of purchased items.
Verify and reconcile vendor invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance
efficiency and effectiveness.
Accounting / Finance :
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Perform account reconciliations and assist in month-end and year-end closing
processes.
Support client billing processes by preparing invoices, verifying accuracy, and
resolving discrepancies.
Track, monitor and follow-up on accounts payable and receivable including invoice
processing and payment tracking.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Provide support in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
Assist in the analysis of financial data and trends to support strategic planning.
Track, monitor and process local agency operators’ assessments and taxes.
Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and controls.

You have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook with very
strong aptitude in Excel.
You have strong time management and organizational skills with great attention to
detail.
You can deliver under tight deadlines, are resourceful and solution oriented.
You can be flexible in shifts worked and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
You have effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact
with various levels of the organization, while maintaining confidential company and
associate information.

Years of Experience
Ideally 2 year(s) working in a management role within payroll.
Experience with multi-state payroll a plus.
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
Experience working with both HRIS and Payroll systems, new systems implementation
experience. Paylocity experience is ideal.
Experience working with accounting software, QuickBooks experience.
Additional Requirements
- Role based in Orange or Los Angeles County
- Field visits and travel required periodically for meetings
Salary Range- 70,000 - 90,000 yearly base.
