Description: Brand-Nu Laboratories, LLC. (BNL) is seeking an Account Specialist who will report to the Senior Account Specialist. The Account Specialist is responsible for supporting our sale of ingredients for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and specialty chemical industries.
Job Type: Full-time, 40hrs/week, in person
Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM M-F
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage key customer accounts in conjunction with department leaders.
- Assist with the management of incoming and outgoing shipping activities in accordance with shipping procedures.
- Manage customer complaints and resolutions.
- Coordinate and monitor transport activities and providers.
- Organize supplier calls and meetings to discuss open issues.
- Assist in managing new customer set up.
- Participate in customer visits in BNL or customer site.
- Process sales and purchase orders within the relevant ERP system.
- Coordinate with warehouse and accounts departments to ensure accurate processing of all orders.
- Assist with stock control and inventory checks on an annual basis.
- Assist administrators with follow up tasks relating to processing of customer and supplier orders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
- 3 - 5 years’ prior experience in account management / customer service, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Outstanding follow-up skills in both internal and external communications.
