What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Leasing Asset Manager position at Brand Street Properties?
Greenwich, Connecticut-based Commercial Real Estate owner/developer and full-service property management company is seeking a real estate professional to join our growing team. This position will join the leasing, property management and acquisition teams in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare and review letters of intent for new lease transactions
• Work with outside counsel in drafting, negotiation and review of leases
• Draft lease amendments related to lease extensions, renewals and modifications
• Liaise with tenants in processing lease assignment requests and negotiation when applicable
•Develop and maintain positive tenant relationships
• Collaborate with lease administration and property management team to ensure timely tracking of lease milestone and other dates
• Conduct lease review and prepare estoppels relating to due diligence on acquisitions
• Research lease clauses to resolve tenant issues
• Complete CAM/RET/INS reconciliations in Excel & thoughtfully respond to tenant inquiries about the reconciliations.
• Participate in annual budget process
• Track leasing deal flow and status of negotiations
• Oversee AR staff’s accurate entry of receivables for relevant properties and manage collections process.
•Facilitate collection and review of Tenant COI’s using third party compliance platform
We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications:
• Self-starter with strong ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented, proactive team player who can also work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required) and Adobe A
• Experience with Yardi and/or MRI preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ real estate paralegal experience
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with colleagues, ownership, outside counsel and tenants.
