The Hiatt Career Center at Brandeis University seeks an innovative and entrepreneurial professional for a newly created role that integrates career counseling and external relations, with a specialized focus on business, consulting, and finance . As a member of both the career and external engagement teams, this role is essential in building connections between career development and employer / alumni engagement.
This position involves working directly with all students and alumni, with a particular focus on those pursuing careers in business, consulting, and finance . You will also cultivate partnerships with employers, alumni, and industry professionals in these fields, helping to create pathways to high-quality professional opportunities. The role reports jointly to the Associate Director of Career and the Associate Director of Engagement.

- Provide career counseling to all students and alumni with focus on those interested in business, consulting, and finance.
- Guide students through career exploration, self-assessment, goal setting, and internship / job search strategies.
- Stay informed on industry-specific labor market trends, recruiting practices, and career resources to offer tailored strategies and techniques.

Work Environment
Brandeis is a liberal arts college within a research university, offering a tight-knit, collaborative community. Hiatt Career Center staff work 35 hours / week with a hybrid work model, allowing for flexible scheduling. Some early morning or evening hours may be required for events or special initiatives.
