Salary
The typical annual salary range for this position is $77,000.00 USD to $95,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
Responsibilities
- Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
- Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
- May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
- May supervise computer programmers
Qualifications
2 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description.
- 2 years’ experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines – an agile DevOps workflow focused on a frequent and reliable software delivery process that is iterative, and allows DevOps teams to write code, integrate it, run tests, deliver releases, and deploy changes to the software collaboratively and in real-time
- 2 years’ experience with Java, JavaScript, Containers, and Micro-services architecture
- 2 years’ experience with SQL
- 1 years’ experience with HTML and CSS
- 1 years’ experience with Git
- Experience with Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent
- Experience working with the Agile software development methodologies and collaborating between self-organizing cross-functional teams to deliver value faster, and with greater quality and predictability
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred
- Experience working as a Scrum team member
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
- Ability to work independently, self-starter
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Desired experience:
- Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipeline experience
- AMQP (RabbitMQ)
- Java ORM such as Hibernate
- Java with Spring or Java EE
- Restful web services

Education:
- BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline.
- ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant Associate’s Degree.
Clearance:
- Condition of employment - must be able to acquire and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Citizenship:
- The applicant must have US citizenship at time of application.
